WHITECOURT MINOR HOCKEY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OUR PLAYER/COACH DEVELOPMENT IS PROUD TO BE TEAMING UP WITH

Parkland Hockey Group

The purpose of this program is to implement a structured format throughout Whitecourt Minor Hockey focusing on coach mentorship and player development.

Coach Mentorship: To empower ALL coaches by communicating knowledge, resources and the feedback they need to become a successful coach at every level.

Player Development: This program provides a long-term player development model focusing on fundamental skills, while raising our standards for success.

WMH will be:

1) Meeting with Coaches at the beginning of the season to explain the fundamental skills needed at that specific level.

2) Establishing core values, goal setting, expectations, and objectives for their entire team (coaches, players and parents)

3) Visiting each team 3 times to the progress ( preferably October - December)

There will be hockey camps, PD Days camps and so much more, stay tuned for more information.

Prior to the beginning of the season, there will be a kick-off gathering with ALL coaching staff to introduce the Vision and guidelines of this program.
