 2022-2023 Coach of the Year is Tim Simard 

Nominators had this to say: 

"Coach Simard shows up and is ready! Every practice he is highly prepared and demands the most out of the kids on and off the ice. Very focused practices while also incorporating fun in the dressing room. These players are all excited to be there and as parents we are all excited to watch our children develop their on ice skills and their friendships as teammates."

"Treats all the kids on his team with kindness and respect. It’s clear that he wants every child to be the best they can be and reach their potential. His passion and dedication shine through every time he is on the ice."

President Richards on Coach Simard:

Coach Simard enthusiasm and passion to support athletes in our association is tremendous. His goal is to ensure all kids are having fun, learning new things and growing not only as players on the ice but also as leaders in our community off the ice. Sportsmanship, fairplay and supporting each other to grow as team members are few of the traits Tim brings to our association and we are very fortunate to have him part of our team.
