COVID-19 Update - Scott Safety Centre Masking Protocols
For immediate release -Starting on Friday Nov 6th 4:00PM All spectators, all parents, all players (when not on the ice) and coaches off/on ice (coaches can remove mask to communicate with players when maintaining 2 meter distance to provide instructions and then resume wearing the mask) , must wear masks at all times when entering the Scott Safety Centre for WMH related activities/events/Practices & Games. Kids 2 years and under are not required to mask.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases are increasing in our community and across the province. Recognizing how COVID-19 is impacting Whitecourt and our region, community members are asked to remain vigilant in mitigating the risk of getting sick or spreading COVID-19. Universal masking is not a replacement for social distancing, hand & cough hygiene and symptomatic individuals who must remain in self-isolation.
